Termite Prevention Systems was founded in 2005 to take advantage of new regulations in SC allowing for preventative termite treatments rather than traditional termite treatments. We now provide preventative services for homeowners who do not have termites in their home. The price for this is much less then a conventional termite treatment. This has proven to be a popular and effective plan for our company.

Since then we have branched out into other areas of pest control that fit into our business model. These include:

• Pest Control for bugs, ants, spiders, mice & rats, etc. Bedbugs and fleas a specialty!

• Conventional liquid termite treatments for customers who do have termites in their home.

• Wildlife Control for squirrels, rats, raccoons, opossums, bats, snakes, etc.

• Minor repairs to correct damages due to animal intrusion.

• Moisture Control: French drains, Sump pumps, Automatic foundation vents, Poly Ground Cover (or Vapor Barrier).

• Pressure washing for vinyl siding, decks, driveways and patios.

We provide the following:

• First, we will perform a first class termite inspection and go over our findings with you. There is no charge for this inspection.

• If you don't have termite activity within your foundation, we can offer you a preventative treatment at about half the price of a full termite treatment.

• If you do have termites, we will quote you on a conventional full termite treatment.

Notes:

• Our contracts have no time limitation as most termite contracts have. They are for lifetime. As long as you continue to pay your annual renewal fee we will service you.

• Renewal fees may increase, but it is our business philosophy to keep the costs of our services the lowest in the industry.

• Our contracts can be transferred to a new owner in case of sale, etc.

• Our philosophy is "Why pay for something you don't need". If you don't have termites then why pay for a complete termite job? A preventative system can keep termites out of your home.

Bob Patterson spent most of his career in computer-related work. He joined Orkin in 2003 and spent 2 ½ years with them. He was recognized as the top producer in SC his last year. He completed his Pest Control studies with Clemson University in 2005 and obtained his license to operate a pest control business in SC. He started TPS at end of 2005 to offer low cost termite control when he realized that no other companies were going to take advantage of the new SC regulations allowing for preventative termite treatments.

Tannie Dandridge spent most of his career as a Sous Chef or Head Chef in various restaurants throughout Northern Nevada from the late 1990's to the early 2000's, as well as in the Midlands since 2003. Searching for a change of pace, he joined CC Exterminators of West Columbia in 2008. In 2009, Tannie joined TPS. He is currently the Service Manager and is working on his Degree in Business through the University of Phoenix. He is a partner in the company and is slated to take over when Bob Patterson retires.
